I tried this recipe at home with my brother but my brother did not help me to make malai kofta. I first make kofta (balls) is made with boiled potatoes and grated paneer. Crush potatoes and paneer and make balls and deep fry the kofta balls in oil and keep aside.


Making gravy is easy and fewer preparation steps. First, fry the onions and fry ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes and add species, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder mix well and fry for 2 minutes and make a puree of it. And keep aside.



Take another pan and add species given in gravy ingredients fry the species and pour puree item in a pan and stir well You can also add water in the pan for making a thick gravy. After gravy and stir well 2-3 minutes and Add a kofta (balls) in a pan. And stir for 2 minutes and turns off flame. Tasty malai kofta is ready to eat. Details steps to cook a recipe is given below.

For kofta :

  • 2 cup grated paneer
  • 4-5 tbsp oil
  • 3-4 boiled potatoes
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 9-11 cashews
  • 9-11 almonds

For puree :

  • 2 chopped onions
  • 2-3 tbsp oil
  • 2-3 chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder.

For gravy:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2-3 bay leaf (tej patta)
  • 2 inch cinnamon stick
  • ½ tbsp cashews paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • salt
  • ½ cup water
  • 2-3 cardamon (elaichi)
  • 3 cloves (lavang)
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 tbsp fengugreek leaves (kasuri methi)

Making of kofta:

  1. Take a large bowl , Add 2 cup of grated paneer, 2 boiled potatoes in bowl and mash it well. You should take care about no lumps of potatoes.

  2. Add salt, garam masala, chopped cashews, and chooped almonds in bowl.

  3. Mix it well in bowl. And make small balls.

  4. After making balls coat with corn flour for crispy balls.

  5. Deep fry the balls in medium flame.

  6. Fry until the golden color of balls , keep balls aside in paper towel for oil drain out.

For puree:

  1. Take a large pan or kadai, Add a 2 tbsp oil in pan and add a chopped onions in pan and salute them till the light golden brown colors.

  2. Now add a ginger garlic paste and salute them till raw smell of ginger-garlic paste.

  3. Add a chopped tomatoes in pan and cook them for 8-10 minutes in medium flame.

  4. Make sure do not burn them.

  5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and coriander powder and mix well for 3-4 minutes in medium flame.

  6. After mix well. Kept aside for cool them for blend in smooth puree,

  7. After cool blend the them in smooth puree you can also add a little water. And keep aside.

For kofta gravy:

  1. Take a large pan or kadai. Add a 2 tbsp of oil and add a bay leaf, cardamon (elaichi), cloves (lavang) and cinnamon stick and mix well and salute for 3-4 minutes in medium flame.

  2. Next, Add a blend smooth puree in pan and mix well. Mix until the boiling of paste.

  3. Add paste of cashews and mix well and cover with lid and cook to 10-12 minutes.

  4. After 12 minutes Add a garam masala, salt and half cup of water. And mix well cook to get boil.

  5. After boiling gravy add a fresh cream and kasuri methi and mix well.

  6. After mixing well add a kofta balls in gravy and cook for 2-3 minutes and turn off the flame.

  • 500 gms Mutton
  • 3-4 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 3 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 2-3 dry red chilies
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • 2-3 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp cured
  • 2 tsp coconut powder
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • salt
  • curry leaves
  • coriander leaves (garnishing)
  1. Wash Mutton Pieces well.

  2. Take a bowl add a mutton pieces, chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, cured, coconut powder, chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, red chili powder in bowl and mix well. And marinate foe 3-4 hours in refrigerator.

  3. After marination. Take a cooker a add 2-3 tbsp oil in cooker and pour marinated item in a cooker and cook for 4-5 whistle in medium flame.

  4. Take care mutton should be cook completely in cooker.

  5. After cook Take a pan add a 2 tbsp oil in pan. Add curry leaves in oil and stir well.

  6. Add red dry chilies in pan. And add cooked mutton pieces in pan and fry in medium flame .

    Add half cup of water in pan and cook until gravy turns in thick and masala clings to mutton pieces .

  7. After masala clings to mutton pieces and mutton dish dried turn off the flame

  8. Take a serving plate and serve mutton fry with garnishing coriander, lemons, etc.

Ingradients: Hyderabadi mutton biryani recipe

  • 1kg  mutton.
  • 6 tbsp oil.
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder.
  • Salt for taste.
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste.
  • 2-3 green chilies.
  • 3  chopped onion.
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice.
  • 2-3 tsp red chili powder.
  • 1 cup of cured.
  • Chopped mint.
  • 1 kg  basamati rice.
  • 1 japatri (mace).
  • 3 sticks of kapok buds small (Marathi moggu).
  • 3 grams black stone flower (biryani ka phool).
  • 6-7 cloves (loung).
  • 1 tsp shahi jeera (caraway seeds).
  • 1-2 inch cinnamon stick.
  • ½ pieces jaiphal (nutmag).
  • 1-2 cardamon (elachi).

Making of mutton dum biryani recipe.

For biryani masala :

  •    Take a blender pot and add cinnamon, anise, grams black flower (biryani ka Phool), sticks of kapok buds small (Marathi moggu),japatri (mace). All the spices grind in blender and grind in powder. Keep aside.

For marinations:

  •   Cut onions in small and deep fry the onions in oil. Until the onion in crispy golden color.
  •  Wash the mutton pieces well.
  •   Take the bowl to add chopped green chili, mint leaves, curd, lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger-garlic, salt, biryani masala powder.
  • And add mutton pieces in a bowl and mix well.
  • Add fried onions in a bowl.
  • Add ½ tsp oil in a bowl mix all together.
  • Keep aside for 2 hours for perfect marination.

For basmati rice: 

  • Take a 1 kg of rice. Take a rice cooking pan to add rice and water.
  •    Add mint leaves, coriander leaves, bay leaves and add 2 tsp of oil in a pan.
  • Cook rice in half means to cook until the water gets evaporated.
  •   After water is evaporated keep aside a rice pan.

For hyderabadi mutton biryani recipe:

  • Take a pan to add a marinated mutton
  • Add rice in it and spread the rice in the pan.
  •    And cover with a lid and cook for 15-20 minutes in the medium flame.
  • After 20 minutes turn in low flame and cook for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes off the heat and Hyderabadi dum biryani is ready to eat.
  • You can garnish with saffron, coriander leaves, butter, etc.

Ingradients: chicken biryani.

  • 1kg skinless chicken.
  • 6 tbsp oil.
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder.
  • Salt for taste.
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste.
  • 2-3 green chilies.
  • 3  chopped onion.
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice.
  • 2-3 tsp red chili powder.
  • 1 cup of cured.
  • Chopped mint.
  • 1 kg  basamati rice.
  • 1 japatri (mace).
  • 3 sticks of kapok buds small (Marathi moggu).
  • 3 grams black stone flower (biryani ka phool).
  • 6-7 cloves (loung).
  • 1 tsp shahi jeera (caraway seeds).
  • 1-2 inch cinnamon stick.
  • ½ pieces jaiphal (nutmag).
  • 1-2 cardamon (elachi).

Making of Best chicken biryani recipe.

For biryani masala :

  • Take a blender pot and add cinnamon, anise, grams black flower (biryani ka phool), sticks of kapok buds small (Marathi moggu),japatri (mace). All the spices grind in blender and grind in powder. Keep aside.

For marination:

  • Cut  onions  in small and deep fry the onions in oil. Until the onion in crispy golden color.
  • Wash the chicken pices well.
  • Take bowl add chopped green chili, mint leaves, curd, lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger-garlic, salt, biryani masla powder.
  • And add chicken pieces in bowl and mix well.
  • Add fried onions  in bowl.
  • Add ½ tsp oil in bowl mix altogether.
  • Keep a side for 2 hours for perfect marination.

For basmati rice:

  • Take a 1 kg of rice.Take a rice cooking pan add a rice and water.
  • Add a mint leaves, coriander leaves, bay leaves and add 2 tsp of oil in pan.
  • Cook a rice in half means cook until water get evaporated.
  • After water is evaporates keep aside a rice pan.

For Hyderabadi dum biryani recipe.


  • Take a pan add a marinated chicken.
    Add rice in it and spread the rice in pan .
    And cover with lid and cook for 15-20 minutes in the medium flame.
    After 20 minutes turn in low flame and cook for 5 minutes.
    After 5 minutes  off the heat and hyderabadi dum biryani is ready to eat.
    You can garnish with saffron, coriander leaves, butter, etc

  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder.
  • ½ tsp red chili powder.

For fish curry

  • 2 tbsp oil.
  • 2 chopped onions.
  • 2 chopped tomatoes.
  • ½ tsp fennel seeds (saunf).
  • 2 tbsp cashew nuts paste.
  • 1 tsp red chili powder.
  •  ½ cumin (jeera).
  • 2  green chili.
  • 1-2 bay leafs.
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste.
  • 1 tsp garam masala.
  • 1 tsp fish curry powder.

Making Fish curry :

  • Take a bowl add a fish pieces and marination ingredients in bowl and mix well. And keep a aside for 2 hours.
  • Take pan heat a pan. Add a oil in pan.
  • Add chopped onions in pan and fry until a  golden brown color of chopped onions.
  • Add a chopped tomatoes in pan. And fry for 3-4minutes.
  • After that add a cashew nuts paste, red chili powder, fennel seeds(saunf), turmeric powder in pan and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Keep a pan aside for cooling the item in pan. After that grind the pan items in blender. Make it in smooth paste.
  • Take a another pan heat it. Add 1 tsp oil in pan and add a fish pieces and fry the fish pieces until the golden color of  fish pieces in both side.
  • After  fish pieces fry Take pan and Add a 1 tbsp oil in pan.
  • Add 1 tsp cumin(jeera ) in pan.
  • Add  chopped onions, curry leaves and green chilies in pan and fry until the golden brown color of onion.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste in pan and fry until the raw smell.
  • After that add red chili powder and garam masala in pan  mix well and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add  ½ cup of water in pan for gravy. After  gravy start a boiling keep boiling for 5-8 minutes in medium flame.
  • Add a fish pieces in pan and cook for 10-12 minutes for proper fish dish.
  • After  10 minutes fish curry is ready to eat.
  • You can also garnish with coriander leaves, mint leaves, etc.

  • 3 tbsp oil.
  • 1-2  black cardamom(elaichi).
  • 3 cloves().
  • 4  chopped onions.
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder.
  • ½ tsp fenugreek leaves(kasuri  methi).
  • 3-4 green cardamom(elaichi).
  • 2 bay leafs.
  • ½ tsp cumin(jeera).
  • 4 tomatoes for puree.
  • 1 ½ tbsp red chili powder.

  • 4 tbsp cashew nuts paste.
  • ½ cup of cream (optional).

  • Add chicken pieces in pan and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add kasuri methi (fenugreek leaves) in pan and cook 2-3 minutes.
  • Add half cup of water to making a gravy well. Cook until the gravy will oil.
  • After gravy boil . Add a cream (optional), garma masala, coriander leaves and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • After 2-3 minutes off the flame and set aside for 20 minute.

Mutton gravy recipe Ingredients :

1 kg mutton.

3 tbsp oil.

1-2 bay leaf.

3-4 cloves.

3-4 cardamon (elaichi).

2-3 green chili .

1-2 tsp turmeric .

1 tsp funnel seeds(sop).

1-2 inch cinnamon sticks (daalcheenee).

4-5 tomatoes puree.

1 tsp garam masala .

1 tbsp fenugreek leaves(kasuri methi).

Salt .

3-4 chopped onion.

1-2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste.

2 tsp Mutton masala powder.

Making of Mutton gravy recipe:

1. Take a mutton piece in a bowl and rub mutton pieces with turmeric after that keep aside.

2. Heat a pressure cooker and add oil to the cooker. Add     funnels seeds. Bay leaf, cardamom and cloves and fry for 1-2 minutes mix well.

3. Add green chili, chopped onions and fry until the onion color change in golden brown.

4. After that add a ginger-garlic paste in it mix well fry until the raw smell.

5. Add tomato puree in pan fry for 1-2 minutes stir well in medium flame.

6. Add coriander powder and salt for own choice cook for 1 minute.

7. Add mutton pieces in the cooker and cover with cooker lid on it.

8. Cook for 30-40 minutes in medium flame until the 4-5 whistles.

 9. After 30-40 minutes open a cooker lid. Add water in the cooker for making a gravy stir well. Make sure flame should low after opening a cooker lid.

10. Add a garam masala, kasuri methi and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.

11. After 2 minutes mutton curry is ready to eat the yummy mutton dish.
